The Falco PoE sample kit has been assorted with fully functional single port, dual port and quad port 10/100 Mbps parts. PoE LAN magnetic components are commonly used in the design of remote security devices, access points, switches, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) telephones, web cameras, gaming systems, building access control systems, electronic musical instruments, battery charges for mobile phones, and PDAs.

The parts meet or exceed the IEEE 802.3af standard and are capable of handling 350 mA of DC current and deliver up to 13 Watts worth of 48V DC power connected to devices up to 100 m awa.
